The urge of frequent urination can disrupt one’s normal routine, and even their sleep cycle, it is usually a sign of an underlying medical condition, and sometimes a more serious condition, if recognized early, the problem can be easily treated and most of them all, it will prevent complications.
But how would you tell if you are urinating more than required? On average, most people urinate around 6 or 7 times in a period of 24 hrs but if it surpluses this then it might be a concern though everyone is different. Something else to note is that urinary frequency is very different from urinary incontinence.
As earlier said, everyone is different and one might have a higher urinary frequency, the only time it is not normal is only when it affects the quality of your life. Excessive urination is usually an indication of a kidney infection, and it is not something to be disregarded.
Some other warning signs are usually, night sweats, weight loss, weakness on legs, fever, and back pain, but if you do not have any of the signs, the best thing to do is to book an appointment with your doctor when you will find it convenient.
