The Basic Components Of Computer Peopleware.

According to Wikipedia Peopleware is a term used to refer to one of the three core aspects of computer technology, the other two being hardware and software. Peopleware can refer to anything that has to do with the role of people in the development or use of computer software and hardware systems, including such issues as developer productivity, teamwork, group dynamics, the psychology of programming, project management, organizational factors, human interface design, and human-machine-interaction.

There are numbers of computer users who are viewed as human or peopleware. The diagram below shows the users of computer system.

Devices systems and application of software.

A device is any machine or component that attaches to a computer. Devices are usually constructed tool (is any physical item that can be used to achieve a goal, especially if the item is not consumed in the process). Most devices, whether peripheral or not requires program called a device driver that acts as translator, converting general commands that the device understands.

Example of devices are:

  • System Unit.
  • Mother Board/Manboard.
  • CPU (Central Processing Unit).
  • Primary Storage.
  • Expansion Bus.
  • Adopters.
  • Power Supply Unit (PSU).
  • Hard Disk Drive (HDD).
  • Digital Versatile Disk (DVD).

The application refers to a software which is a set of instructions or code written in a program for executing a task of an operation in computer.

An applications play a vital role in a computer as if is an end-user program that enables the user to do many things in a system. The application program are designed and developed to run a system software which is an Operation System.

The tterm is a shorter form of application program. Applications uses the service of computer Operating System and other supporting applications. The formal request and means of communication with other program that an application program uses is called, Application Program Interface (API).
